I’ve seen this enough that I feel like announcing this general rule of thumb:

The last sentence of a section of a Wikipedia article is the most likely to be the least useful.
This arises from contributors not thoroughly reading an article (or not reading it at all) and thinking, “oh, I have something to contribute” so [...]
