Google came out with some test applets so you can see if your ISP is throttling your downloads. There’s a specific tool to check for BitTorrent throttling. Here’s the page.

Ever wonder why your BitTorrent downloads seem to kill your download times? Or why your Hulu videos get all choppy? Use those tools to find out if your ISP is a jerk or not.

Brief bkgnd: AOL had some of it’s search data leaked to the net. This site has it and you can see searches performed from some computers. I am most entertained by the searches on one computer that are obviously coming from a husband and wife with conflicting goals and motivations.

A mother-in-law and a son-in-law share a computer. Occasionally the daughter (MILs daughter, SILs wife) does a search.
This woman really didn’t like the naked pictures a car salesman showed her.
