aluminum laser etching

Julie and I sketched the logo on the white-board. I photographed it with my phone and emailed it to her. We then touched it up a little in Photoshop and sent that raster image to the laser which etched that baby on an aluminum sheet.

We cranked that sucker up today and it was awesome. Pretty fucking awesome. I personally was relieved that faulty wiring of some sort on our part did nor result in a comic shower-of-sparks that you try to put out with a wrench.
