I was kind of petrified that I’d drop my phone taking this photo. When I first looked over the balcony in the stairwell I did not expect to see a slinky-trapezoid of death straight to the ground floor. Architect: please explain yourself.

I like this picture. Before I read the body of the post, I was all “how is this the eleventh floor? There’s the sidewalk right there.” It takes a closer look to even realize that this is something you fall (not walk) down.
