Use Gmail’s Multiple Inboxes for power and success

Holy shit: This album is amazing. A must listen.

Step by step to using Multiple Inboxes in Gmail:

  1. Click on “Settings” in upper right of the string.
  2. Click on the “Labs” tab.
  3. Scroll down to “Multiple Inboxes” and activate.
  4. Scroll to bottom of page and click “Save Changes”
  5. Click back on “Settings”
  6. Click on the new “Multiple Inboxes” tab.
  7. Select the “Above the inbox” radio button.
  8. Click “Save Changes”
  9. Done!

I use stars as a way of denoting emails I need to act on (Bills, must-responds, etc.). Multiple Inboxes is like an automatic “To Do” list.

Amazing that setup can be accomplished in only 9 steps! In communist Russia, new feature steps on you!

Seriously, is the thought process behind posts like this that more searchbots than people read this blog? That can’t be right.

For a searchbot you sure do leave entertaining comments. Point taken: More human-centric posts.
